Here is our first post about the progress of the course! We currently have secured nearly $4500 for the course! There are quite a few other places that have offered thousands of dollars worth of supplies to go towards the work and help brings down the costs. If we are able to bring it all together, the work could potentially begin late summer or early fall! I have GPS located all the tee and hole locations so that they are accurately represented on the course map above. We have met with the commissioners, media, park maintenance and the conservation group and have received permission to move onto the fund raising phase! Also much of the materials for phase 2 have been donated meaning we will likely perform phase 1 (Baskets and tee signage) and phase 2 (Tee Pads) simultaneously! Making it a functional course from the beginning! Stay tuned for continued updates and info!

July 10th, 2025

It has been busy with conversations and plans. We walked the course with GPS mapping and confirmed all holes and tee pads will be on the property. The news is spreading and people are getting excited. The hope is to have our first work day in mid august with specific dates and times to be announced. The baskets have arrived and we were able to partner with Bobcat of Clarion who will donate the use of a skid-steer to speed up the work! I spend an afternoon on 6th ave during clarion summer days to help raise awareness and held a little putting competition with the winner draining an epic putt from 38 feet! I cannot wait to give this gift to our community and to open the very first 18 hole disc golf course in clarion county! Thank you all for the support!

June 24th, 2025.

There has been some more positive movement that we would like to let you know about! Currently the funding effort stands at $12,300 in cash with a large grant from the PA association of realtors helping to bring in nearly half the necessary amount! I cannot say enough though about our local sponsors who saw the vision for the project and love clarion. Then they went the next step and put their money back into the community to provide a resource that the community can take pride in! There are still a few minor details that must be finalized for the layout however those should be rectified in the next couple weeks. As we gain all approvals in the next few weeks I hope to start work on the project around mid August with the course ideally being playable with a grand opening celebration this fall!
